Just before going to “Myths (with clarification) about Mahabharata (Ramayana)“, let us have some brief information.

Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) is existing since the ‘adi kalam‘ (Grand unknown age) and will stay until the ‘ananta kalam‘ (Grand infinite age).

Sanatana Dharma was founded by Lord Sri Vishnu and not by any ordinary human.

Sanatana Dharma means, which can’t become ‘anatha‘ (orphan). This is the greatness of our great Sanatana Dharma.

We have great lineage of Lord Sri Rama, we have great lineage of Lord Sri Krishna.

Suryavansh (Suryavamsha) (Solar Dyanasty) and Chandravansh (Chandravamsha) (Lunar Dynasty) is existing since long long time.

Because of Kali Yuga and westerners insurgent into our country and mind, many have almost have lost their faith in Lord Sri Vishnu and Sanatana Dharma.

Many people believe that they can do whatever they want without the help and support of Lord Sri Vishnu which is the biggest stupidity.

Without his help and support we can’t even move. If we don’t have energy inside our body, how can we move?

If we need energy, we need food. From where do we get food? This is not easy for many to understand.

List of Myths and clarification about Mahabharata, Ramayana are as given below:

Sri Krishna and Sri Rama is not Bhagavan (God)

Sri Hanuman is an avatar of Sri Rudra Deva / Sri Shiva

Sri Bhima (Bhimasena) was a goosey person

Greatly mistaken opinion about Sri Draupadi Devi

Ekalavya was a good person or why Sri Dronacharya was rude with Ekalavya

Sri Krishna was against Karna or why Karna had to face so many problems even though he was a good person

Vibhishana betrayed his brother Ravana or Vibhishana did mistaken by joining Sri Rama Chandra Prabhu

Lord Sri Krishna was a lampata / womanizer

Hinduism is based on polytheism / Hinduism has multiple Bhagavans (Gods)

Ganga Devi is consort of Lord Shiva

Lord Sri Dattatreya has three heads

And many many more…

Now, let us look more in-depth information of the above:

Sri Krishna and Sri Rama is not Bhagavan (God):

Lord Sri Krishna and Lord Sri Rama are svayam avatars of Lord Sri Hari / Sri Vishnu Bhagavan.

There is no difference between Sri Krishna / Sri Rama / Sri Hari / Sri Vishnu or any other names of Sri Hari.

Sri Krishna (Vishnu) is the only Bhagavan (God) of Hinduism / Sanatana Dharma and all others (Devatas / Demigods) are Sri Krishna’s followers.

Hinduism / Sanatana Dharma follow monotheism and not polytheism as believed by many people.

We do pooja Lord of Sri Hari (Vishnu), as Lord Sri Hari (Vishnu) is the ONE AND ONLY Bhagavan / Ishvara / Parabrahma / God?

Brahman / Parameshvara / Sarveshvara / Sarvottama etc. etc. etc.

And all others are called as Devatas / Demigods starting from:

Goddess Sri Lakshmi Devi, Lord Sri Brahma Deva (Lord Sri Mukhya Prana Deva / Lord Sri Vayu Deva – the next Sri Brahma Deva),

Goddess Sri Sarasvati Devi (Goddess Sri Bharati Devi – the next Goddess Sri Sarasvati Devi and also she is the consort of Lord Sri Mukhya Prana Deva / Lord Sri Vayu Deva),

Lord Sri Rudra Deva (Lord Shiva), Goddess Sri Tulasi Devi, Goddess Sri Parvati Devi, Lord Sri Indra Deva, Lord Sri Kama Deva, Lord Sri Surya Deva, Lord Sri Ganesha, etc. etc. etc.

Sri Hanuman is an avatar of Sri Rudra Deva / Sri Shiva:

This is absolutely incorrect.

It is nowhere written that Sri Hanuman is an avatar of Sri Rudra Deva / Sri Shiva.

It is very clearly written in multiple Sanatana Dharma Shastras that Sri Hanuman is an avatar of Sri Mukhya Prana Deva / Sri Vayu Deva.

Sri Hanuman is the next Sri Brahma Deva after the completion of the present Maha Kalpa (one life span of Sri Brahma Deva).

How can both Sri Brahma Deva and Sri Rudra Deva could be one and the same.

This story has been created very recently and this is completely against the Sanatana Dharma Shastras (Hindu Texts).

Sri Bhima (Bhimasena) was a goosey person:

This is another gossip – It is very clearly mentioned in many Shastras (Hindu Texts) of Sanatana Dharma that –

Bhima is an avatar of Sri Vayu Deva / Sri Mukhya Prana Deva, that is, Sri Bhima and Sri Hanuman are one and the same. Then, how can Bhima can be a goosey person?

Lord Sri Vayu Deva took birth as Sri Hanuman in Tetra Yuga to do seva (serve) of Lord Sri Rama Chandra Prabhu.

And again Lord Sri Vayu Deva took birth as Sri Bhima to do seva (serve) of Lord Sri Krishna during Dvapara Yuga.

Also it is very clearly written in our Shastras (Mahabharata / Rigveda etc.) that Sri Vayu Deva / Sri Hanuman / Sri Bhima would be the next Sri Brahma Deva in the next Maha Kalpa.

How can Sri Vayu Deva / Sri Hanuman / Sri Bhima could be a goosey person. Only buddhi heena (most stupid people) would think like this.

I have written about who would be the next Sri Brahma Deva in my another post, you can refer this post for more information. The link is here:

Who is next Brahma Deva

Greatly mistaken opinion about Sri Draupadi Devi:

Many many have belief that how can one single woman marry five people.

To know this we should know that Sri Draupadi Devi is an amalgamation of five different Devis, that Sri Draupadi Devi is not just one Devi, she is five different Devis.

We must have heard sometime, that in one single person there would be many people, that is “Multiple personality”.

Same holds good here. But also we should note that the above term is a disorder, but about Sri Draupadi is concerned, it is not a disorder, but it completely in order.

This means, Sri Draupadi Devi is not just another woman / lady. She is a Daivi / divine lady.

Draupadi Devi is the amalgamation of five Devis, that is:

Sri Bharati Devi (next Sri Sarasvati Devi and she is the consort of Sri Vaayu Deva / Sri Mukhya Praana Deva),

Sri Parvati Devi (consort of Sri Shiva), Sri Sachi Devi (consort of Sri Indra Deva), Sri Shyamala Devi (consort of Sri Yama Deva) and Sri Usha Devi (consort of Ashwini Kumaras).

We should immediately take out this GREATLY MISTAKEN OPINION ABOUT THE GREAT SRI DRAUPADI DEVI.

I have written about who is the Great Sri Draupadi Devi is in my another post, you can refer this post for more information. The link is here:

Why Draupadi married 5 men

Ekalavya was a good person or why Sri Dronacharya was rude with Ekalavya:

I have written about this in my another post, you can know about this from this link:

Krishna killed Ekalavya, but why?

Sri Krishna was against Karna or why Karna had to face so many problems even though he was a good person:

I have written about this also in my another post, you can visit this link for more information:

Why Karna had to face so many problems

Vibhishana betrayed his own brother Ravana or Vibhishana did mistaken by joining Sri Rama Chandra Prabhu:

Yes, off course Vibhishana was a brother of Ravana. Also we should remember that Vibhishana was very loyal to his brother even at the end point.

Vibhishana requested several times to free Sri Sita Devi. Vibhishana fell to Ravana’s feet several times to inform to free Sri Sita Devi. But Ravana was never wanted to hear from others.

Ravana was adamant and had completely lost his aatma buddhi / soul’s words and kicked Vibhishana out of Lanka. Remember that Vibhishana didn’t left Lanka on his own, but was kicked out by Ravana.

Vibhishana was not an ordinary person, but in fact, Vibhishana was a great bhakta / devotee of Sri Rama Chandra Prabhu.

Vibhishana was knowing Sri Rama Chandra Prabhu is the supreme svayam Bhagavan (God), and there is nobody else who can save him from the clutches of Ravana.

And also we should remember that Vibhishana was a Dharmic person, a saatvika person even though he was born in a Rakshasa family (his mother Kaikesi was a Rakshasi / demoness by birth).

Even if we have problems in our lives, we would go to Bhagavan (God), expecting Bhagavan (God) will save us. Same thing was done by Vibhishana.

He went to Lord Sri Rama Chandra Prabhu, as Vibhishana was knowing about Sri Rama Chandra Prabhu. Everybody does the same thing when in problems.

Vibhishana went as a sharanagati (to surrender).

In Hindu Sanatana Dharma, if someone is coming in the form of Sharanaagati means, one has to give the Sharana to that person.

Sri Rama Chandra Prabhu is svayam Bhagavan and he knows everything very very very well.

Lord Sri Krishna was a lampata / womanizer:

Only adharmis / stupids / rascals think like this. Who are against the Dharma and who hate Sanatana Dharma would think and talk like this.

Sri Krishna is svayam Bhagavan (God). He knows anything and everything. Yes, he marries 16,108 wives. We should understand that he is svayam Bhagavan (God).

He has the capacity of doing anything and everything. He is the ultimate enjoyer. He is known as “atma kaama“, means he doesn’t needs anybody to satisfy him, he is satisfied by himself.

I have written two post regarding his wives and related message. You can visit these two links for more information:

Lord Krishna wives and children names

and

Krishna killed Narakasur & married 16,100 women story

Hinduism is based on polytheism / Hinduism has multiple Bhagavans (Gods):

This is another incorrect belief, especially by the Europeans and the Westerners.

Hinduism / Sanatana Dharma is based on MONOTHEISM. Sanatana Dharma is not a polytheist country.

Sanatana Dharma has ONLY ONE GOD and he is Sri Hari / Sri Vishnu / Sri Krishna / Sri Rama (he has unlimited names).

And all others are called Devatas / Demigods starting from:

Sri Mahalakshmi Devi, Sri Brahma Deva, Sri Sarasvati Devi, Sri Rudra Deva, Sri Tulasi Devi, Sri Parvati Devi, Sir Indra Deva, Sri Surya Deva etc. etc. etc.

I have written an elaborate explanation on this, you can visit this link fore more information:

Hierarchy of Hindu Gods

Ganga Devi is consort of Lord Shiva:

This is completely against our Shaastras as Ganga Devi is the consort of Sri Varuna Deva (Ocean Demigod). Sri Shiva has only one consort, that is Sri Parvati Devi.

Even in the Great Mahabharata this has been very clearly informed that Ganga Devi is the consort of Sri Santanu Maharaj (Sri Santanu Maharaj is an avatar of Sri Varuna Deva).

Lord Sri Dattatreya has three heads:

This is another gossip among the people that Lord Sri Dattatreya has three heads.

This is also completely against our Great Shastras (Hindu Texts). As per our Puranas, the Atri Maharshi and Anasuya Devi are the parents of the Lord Sri Dattatreya.

The main point to be noted here is that, this couple had three children namely:

Lord Sri Dattatreya (he is an avatar of Sri Hari), Durvasa Muni (he is avatar of Sri Shiva) and

Chandra (since Sri Brahma Deva doesn’t take avatar, he comes in the form of the Chandra Deva and thus the name Chandra).

The name Dattatreya because, Lord Sri Hari (Vishnu) gives himself as a Datta (donates himself) to Atri Maharshi

and also since Bhagavan (God) is the son of Atri Maharshi, he becomes the Atreya (son of Atri Maharshi).

Thus the full name is Dattatreya.
