What are Hindu Gods and Goddesses names

Namaste friends, how are you doing today? Bhagavan Sri Vishnu blessings to you and your family!

We should always remember that there is only Bhagavan / God and all others are Devatas / Demigods:

Bhagavan / God is Sri Vishnu / Sri Hari / Sri Narayana / Sri Rama / Sri Krishna – He has unlimited names. And all others are Devatas / Demigods.

From Bhagavan Sri Vishnu, Sri Brahma Deva is born. From Sri Brahma Deva’s ‘manasa’ (Divine mind), many divine Devatas are born including Lord Shiva.

In every Kalpa a new Brahma Deva, a new Rudra Deva, a new Indra Deva is born. Similarly all the other Devatas are also born. Only Bhagavan Sri Vishnu is present since the ‘aadi kalam’ (Grand unknown time) and will stay until the ‘ananta kalam’ (Grand infinite time).

Let us know the names of all of them:

Sri Hari / Sri Vishnu / Sri Narayana and his consort name is Sri Mahalakshmi Devi.

Sri Varaha Svami (Same as Sri Vishnu) and his consort name is Sri Bhoodevi (mother earth).

Sri Rama (Same as Sri Vishnu) and his consort name is Sri Sita Devi.

Sri Krishna (Same as Sri Vishnu) and his consorts are namely Sri Rukmini Devi (Sri Mahalakshmi Devi), Sri Satyabhama Devi (Sri Mahalakshmi Devi), Sri Jambavati Devi (Sri Tulasi Devi), Sri Nagnajiti Devi, Sri Kaalindi Devi, Sri Mitravinda Devi, Sri Bhadra Devi, Sri Lakshana Devi and another 16,100 wives. First 8 wives are called as “Ashttabharya”.

Sri Chaturmukha Brahma Deva and his consort name is Sri Sarasvati Devi.

Sri Mukhyapraana Deva (Sri Vayu Deva) and his consort name is Sri Bharati Devi (Sri Vayu Deva is the next Kalpa’s Sri Brahma Deva and Sri Bharati Devi is next Kalpa’s Sri Sarasvati Devi).

Sri Rudra Deva / Sri Shiva and his consort name is Sri Parvati Devi.

Sri Indra Deva and his consort name is Sri Sachi Devi.

Sri Surya Deva and his consort names are Sri Samajna Devi or Sharanya Devi and Chhaaya Devi.

Sri Chandra Deva and his consorts’ names are Kritika, Rohini, Mrigashirsha, Ardra, Punarvasu, Purbabhadrapada, Pushya, Ashlesha, Maagha, Svaati, Chitra, Purvaphalguni, Hasta, Raadha, Vishaaka, Anuraadha, JyeshTa, Mula, Purbashadha, Uttarashara, Shravana, Uttaraphalguni, Sataabhisha, Uttarabhadrapada, Revati, Ashvini and Bharani. (All these are the same as the 27 nakshatras names).

Mangala (the planet Mars) and his consort name is Mangalaa.

Budha (the planet Mercury) and his consort name is Ila.

Bruhaspati (the planet Jupiter) and his consort name is Taara.

Shukra (the planet Venus) and his consort name is Jayanti.

Shani (the planet Saturn) and his consorts names are Manda and Neelima.

Rahu (ascending or north)

Ketu (descending or south)

Ganesha and his consorts names are Siddhi and Buddhi (Riddhi). Ganesha also took birth as the son of Bhagavan Sri Krishna and Sri Rukmini Devi as Charudeshna during the Mahabharata period.

Kartikeya (Skanda) and his consorts names are Valli and Devasena.

Aadi Shesha Naaga and his consort name is Vaaruni Devi.

Garuda Deva and his consort name is Suparni Devi.

Kaama Deva (Manmatha) and his consort name is Rati Devi. Kaama Deva has also taken birth as Kartikeya / Skanda as the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati Devi. And also as the son of Bhagavan Sri Krishna as ‘Pradyumna’.

Yama Deva and his consort name is Shyamala Devi. Yama Deva also has taken birth as Yudhisthira and Vidura during the Mahabharata period.

Ashvini Kumaras (two) and their consort name is Usha Devi. Ashvini Kumaras (two), these two took birth as Nakula and Sahadeva during the Mahabharata period.

Varuna Deva and his consort names are Vaaruni Devi, Ganga Devi and all the rivers who go and join the ocean (Sri Varuna Deva).

Manu Maharaja and his consort name is Shataroopa.

Agni Deva and his consort name is Svaaha.

Mitra Deva and his consort name is (will be updated).
