Just before going to “Can humans become immortal (Hinduism) | Will humans ever be able to live forever?“, let us have a brief some brief information.
We all know that in the past, people or rakshashas (demons) like Hiranyakashipu (Hiranyakashyap) started to think themselves as Bhagavan (God).
Hiranyakashipu (Hiranyakashyap) did a long and hard penance to Lord Sri Brahma Deva and thus Lord Sri Brahma Deva bestowed Hiranyakashipu with great powers.
Hiranyakashipu asked for the immortality to Lord Sri Brahma Deva –
but Lord Sri Brahma Deva cannot give immortality to any jeevi (being) as Lord Srimann Narayana (Lord Sri Vishnu) is the only who is immortal.
Hiranyakashipu got the blessings from Lord Sri Brahma Deva as he cannot be killed by any living or nonliving being who is being created by Lord Sri Brahma Deva, like:
suras (Devatas) (Demigods), asuras (demons), naras (humans), krimi-keeta (insects), jantu (worms),
pranis (animals), pakshis (birds), Yakshas (a type of Demigods), Kinkaras (a type of Demigods), etc.
But Hiranyakashipu forgotten that his intelligence can be extended to very small distance, he forgotten he is not equal to even a peanut in front of Lord Sri Vishnu.
Thus Hiranyakashipu started to think as the greatest, as he is the immortal, as he is the mort powerful in the whole world.
And thus, conquered even the Indra Loka, Yaksha Loka, Patala Loka, Kinnara Loka, etc. and starting to show his darpam (ostentation) to:
all the Navagraha (Nine planets), to all the Saptharishi (Nine Sages), to Ashta Dikpalakas (eight direction Demigods) and on many others.
Hiranyakashipu ordered his followers to build his own temple in all over the world and thus his followers built many temples as the Hiranyakashipu as the main deity.
Bramanas (Brahmins) started to do pooja in those temples in the fear for there lives.
No homas (Vedic ritual) were allowed, no havanas (divine sacrifice) were done. The whole world was maligned in the name of Hiranyakashipu.
Later, Prahlada took birth and he became the cause of the death of his own father Hiranyakashipu with the avatar of Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy (Lord Sri Narasimha).
Also there was another king known as Paundraka Vasudeva, whom by himself had started to think as Lord Sri Krishna.
Paundraka Vasudeva started to wear the same dress as Lord Sri Krishna.
With Paundraka Vasudeva’s head been decorated with the Mayura Barha (मोर पंख / More Pankh) (Peacock’s feather).
Paundraka Vasudeva was always holding the Murali (flute) in his hand. Paundraka Vasudeva was just looking like Lord Sri Krishna.
But any living or non-living being cannot even think like this.
Even thinking or even dreaming as like this (like Lord Sri Krishna) is getting millions of years of bad karmas to us.
Paundra Vasudeva started to use bad language (ugly words) against Lord Sri Vasudeva (Krishna), but Lord Sri Krishna never shown even 1% of the interest for these type of things.
But, Paundraka Vasudeva started to give himsa (violence) to Lord Sri Krishna’s best friend Sudhama.
We must all know that Lord Sri Krishna can tolerate anything, but not the cruelty against his Bhaktas (devotees).
Thus finally with Lord Sri Krsihna ordered his Sudarshana chakra (disc) to cutoff the head of the Paundraka Vasudeva.
Similarly in Kali Yuga there are many people who have started to think themselves as Bhagavan (God), that is, as Lord Sri Krishna (Rama) (Vishnu) himself.
Many religions are going against the Dharma path (against the path which is shown by the Lord Sri Krishna himself).
In the past many-many temples have been ruined all over the world and especially in India itself from Kashmir to Kanyakumari,
many lakhs of Hindu temples have been destroyed till date and still they are thinking they are God by themselves and their religion is the ultimate religion on this earth.
But Lord Sri Krishna gives chance to everybody. Lord Sri Krishna gives time to everybody.
Lord Sri Krishna is very karunashali (kindest) and thus gives whatever any living being asks for, but there is time limit to everything. Until the good Karmas are there they can stay here.
As soon as their bad Karma starts, either Lord Sri Krishna himself will come on this earth or will send his messenger to the earth and will restore peace, will restore Dharma on this earth.
Don’t get involved in GAU-MAATA HATYA (killing of mother cow), don’t get involved in ADHARMA KARYAS (A work of iniquity),
don’t give trouble to BHAGAVAN BHAKTAS (Lord’s devotees), be merciful to the less blessed (poor people),
get involved in DAANAS (especially ANNADAANA) (charity, donation, etc.), don’t get involved in DHARMA CONVERSIONS (religion conversions).
So only way and the best way to get blessings or abhaya (assurance of safety) from Lord Sri Krishna is by praying,
is by doing his Naama smriti (chanting of names) of Lord Sri Hari (Vishnu) (Krishna) (Rama).
OM NAMO NARAYANAYA (or any Lord Sri Vishnu’s name) is the only way to get his blessings and nothing else.
If you don’t correct yourself today and now itself. Lord Sri Krishna knows anything and everything about you.
Lord Sri Krishna will provide you ample opportunities to bettering yourself.
If you don’t use that opportunity in the right way, Lord Sri Krishna knows what should be done with you.
Lord Sri Vishnu has seen unlimited number of humans like us. He knows what to be done with us and he will definitely do that thing.
If we follow the right Dharma path (righteousness), he will definitely provide the fruits as per our Dharma works.
Similarly, if we follow the Adharma path (unrighteousness), he shows which type of punishment to be given to such kind of greedy, ugly, inhuman, etc. people.
The punishment what the local police, court, etc. gives is very very very minimal. But the punishment what Lord Sri Vishnu (Krishna) (Rama) gives is highly terrible.
You be the best judge of your Dharma path or Adharma path – As you sow, so you shall reap.
PS : There is nothing like immortality in this multiverse (unlimited universes).
Starting from Lord Sri Brahma Deva, Lord Sri Rudra Deva, Lord Sri Indra Deva, etc. have to die one or the other day.
Only Lord Sri Vishnu (Krishna) (Rama) is the ‘Ultimate Truth’, ‘Supreme Dharma’, ‘Infinite Power’, etc. etc. etc.
Nothing is permanent or immortal or everlasting. Everything has to come to an end at one or the other date and time.
Don’t show your ego, don’t show your richness, don’t show your greed, don’t show your pride, don’t show your uppishness.
Simple way to get the blessings of Lord Sri Vishnu (Krishna) (Rama) is to be following the path of Dharma and nothing else.
