What is the appropriate age to learn Hinduism (Sanatana Dharma)
Namaste friends, how are your doing today? Bhagavan Sri Vishnu blessings to you and your family!
A child is just born says, “I am just an infant, how can I learn about Sanatana Dharma, as I even don’t know how to speak”.
When that child becomes 5 years says, “I am just a kid, how can I learn about Sanatana Dharma, I have just started to speak few words”.
When that child becomes 10 years old says, “I have just grown up to 10 years now, how can I learn Sanatana Dharma, it is only for old people”.
When 15 years, child says, “I have just entered into my beautiful ❤️ teenage, I don’t want to waste my time by learning Sanatana Dharma, but rather I want to enjoy life with my friends”.
The 20 years old says, “I have just started to make girl (boy) friends, it’s so enjoying period. Don’t force me to learn about Sanatana Dharma as it doesn’t has any logic behind it”.
The 30 years old says, “I have just settled down in my life and have just got married. I am enjoying this romantic period of my life, why should I waste time in learning about Sanatana Dharma, what is the use of learning that ridiculous religion concept”.
The 40 years old says, “I have to work hard and want to make loads & loads of money to myself and my family to secure my and my family future, sorry I don’t have time to learn about Sanatana Dharma”.
The 50 years old says, “I have to arrange for money for my children for their higher studies and future. Please don’t disturb me at the point of my life. Time is very important to me”.
The 60 years old says, “Oh dear, I have started to feel exhausted. I have to arrange for my children marriage, moreover, I am worried about my health too. Why are you forcing me to learn about Sanatana Dharma”.
The 70 years old says, “Oh, if I had learnt about Sanatana Dharma in my earlier age, I would had been in a much better position to face all the difficulties of life. But it’s too late now. I am not able to walk properly, sit properly, eat properly, then how can I learn about Sanatana Dharma at this age”.
Finally life is lost and nothing is achieved.
If we don’t learn about Sanatana Dharma now, that special time will never ever come.
In Srimad Bhagavatam (Sri Vishnu Purana), Prahlad when he was still in the womb of his mother Kalayu says to Sri Devarishi Narada, “Oh my Guru, the great Sri Devarishi Narada, I want to learn about Lord Vishnu. Please let me know how he looks, where he stays, what are the qualities of Lord Vishnu, why Lord Vishnu is the supreme”, etc.?
It is now or never. If you don’t start to learn about Sanatana Dharma now itself, then that time will never ever come in your life.
