Just before moving towards to know about “Whose avatar (incarnation) is hanuman as per Ramayana | Is Hanuman Shiva avatar (incarnation) (As per Ramayana)“, let us know few basic information.

Lord Hanuman Ji is next Lord Brahma Deva.

After the Lanka war, when Lord Rama reaches Ayodhya, Lord Rama blesses Lord Hanuman Ji to be next Lord Brahma Deva.

The present Lord Brahma Deva’s age as per Satya Loka is 50+ years (51st year running).

After the present Lord Brahma Deva complete his 100 years, Lord Hanuman Ji will become the next Lord Brahma Deva.

Now let us know “Whose avatar (incarnation) is hanuman | Is Hanuman Shiva avatar (incarnation)” as given below:

While giving details about the different avatars of the divine people in Ramayana, “Valmiki Ramayana” give details about Lord Hanuman avatar also.

In Balakanda Sarga 17, in Valmiki Ramayana in “Rikshavanarotpattih / ऋक्षवानरोत्पत्तिः / ಋಕ್ಷವಾನರೋತ್ಪತ್ತಿಃ / r̥kṣavānarōtpattiḥ” it is given in the shloka number 1.17.15 as below:

mārutasyātmajaḥ śrīmān hanumānnāma vānaraḥ | vajrasanhananōpētō vainatēyasamō javē || 1.17.15 ||

Meaning of the above shloka : mārutasyātmajaḥ = Son of Lord Vayu (Maruta) or Wind-god, śrīmān = Highly dignified, grand, mighty, graceful, etc.,

hanumānnāma vānaraḥ = A monkey named Hanuman, vajrasanhananōpētō = With his body as hard as diamond, vainatēyasamō = Equaling Lord Garuda, javē = In speed.

Meaning : Lord Vayu (Maruta), the Wind God, begot a son named Hanuman. He is dignified, grand, mighty, graceful, etc.

His (Hanuman) body as hard as a diamond and speed equal to Lord Garuda.

Here Lord Vayu himself took the avatar as his own son.

That is, Lord Vayu himself is Lord Hanuman Ji.

There is no difference between Lord Vayu and Lord Hanuman, as they both are one and the same.

Nowhere it is written that Lord Hanuman is an avatar or amsha (part avatar) of Lord Shiva (Rudra).

People have been giving their own explanations and commentaries about Lord Hanuman as an avatar of Rudra, which is completely against Hindu Shastras (texts).

There is no authentic proof about Lord Hanuman been an avatar of Lord Shiva (Rudra).

There is no genuine evidence about Lord Hanuman been an amsha (part avatar) of Lord Shiva (Rudra).

Lord Hanuman is different and Lord Shiva (Rudra) is different.

There is an another illusion explaining that Lord Vishnu is an avatar of Lord Shiva (Rudra).

Few people say that, there is no difference between Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva (Rudra).

In all the Hindu Shastras (texts), there is no single evidence giving proof about Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva are same.

As per Sri Madhwacharya Ji, Lord Shiva (Rudra) in his next life will become Lord Aadi Shesha Naaga and will serve Lord Vishnu as the bed.
