Just before going to “Hanuman Stotram (Stuti, Slokas) with meaning in Sanskrit (Hindi), Kannada, English [Manojavam Maruta Tulya Vegam, Buddhir Balam Yasho Dharyam, Hanuman Anjana Sunu, Prathamo Hanuman Nama Dvitiyo Bhima Eva cha, Yantrodharaka Hanuman Stotra (By Sri Vyasaraja Yati).]“, let us have some brief information.
Hanuman was born in Kishkinda (Today’s northern part of Karnataka). His mother is Anjana Devi and father name is Kesari. He is an avatar of Lord Sri Vayu Deva. In Hanuman avatar, he served Bhagavan Lord Sri Rama.
Similarly in Bhima (He is also an avatar of Lord Sri Vayu Deva) avatar, he served Bhagavan Lord Sri Krishna. Also in Kaliyuga, Lord Sri Vayu Deva took birth as Sri Madhwacharya Ji and still serving Bhagavan Lord (Sage) Sri Vedavyasa Ji in Badrikashrama (Today’s deeper Badrinath).
Lord Sri Hanuman is also still living and is physically present on this earth and is staying in a place called ‘Kimpurusha Khandha’ and even today he is serving Bhagavan Lord Sri Rama.

Hanuman Stotram (Stuti, Sloka) Manojavam Maruta Tulya Vegam (manōjavaṁ māruta tulya vēgaṁ) with meaning in Sanskrit (Hindi), Kannada, English is as given below:
मनोजवं मारुततुल्यवेगं जितेन्द्रियं बुद्धिमतां वरिष्टं |
वातात्मजं वानरयूथ मुख्यं श्री रामदूतं शिरसा नमामि ||
ಮನೋಜವಂ ಮಾರುತತುಲ್ಯವೇಗಂ ಜಿತೇನ್ದ್ರಿಯಂ ಬುದ್ದಿಮತಾಂ ವರಿಷ್ಟಂ |
ವಾತಾತ್ಮಜಂ ವಾನರಯೂಥ ಮುಖ್ಯಂ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮದೂತಂ ಶಿರಸಾ ನಮಾಮಿ ||
Manōjavaṁ mārutatulyavēgaṁ jitēndriyaṁ buddimatāṁ variṣṭaṁ |
vātātmajaṁ vānarayūtha mukhyaṁ śrī rāmadūtaṁ śirasā namāmi ||
Meaning: Hanuman is the one who is too fast like that of the mind and the god of air (Vayu Deva). Hanuman is the one who has conquered the senses (jeetendriyas) and one who has a superior intellect.
Hanuman is the one who is the son of Sri Vayu Deva (god of air) and the Hanuman is the one who is the most important head of the Vanaras (divine monkey clan).
Hanuman is the one who is the great grand and most revered ambassador of Bhagavan Sri Rama. And thus I (we all ordinary people) bow down to Hanuman and take refuge on to him for ever.
Hanuman Stotram (Stuti, Sloka) Buddhir Balam Yasho Dharyam (bud’dhir balaṁ yaśō dhairyaṁ) with meaning in Sanskrit (Hindi), Kannada, English is as given below:
बुद्धिर् बलं यशो धैर्यं निर्भयत्वं अरोगता |
आजाड्यत्वं वाक्पटुत्वं च हनुमत् स्मरणाद्भवेत ||
ಬುದ್ದಿರ್ಬಲಂ ಯಶೋಧ್ಯರ್ಯಂ ನಿರ್ಭಯತ್ವಂ ಆರೋಗತಾ |
ಅಜಾಡ್ಯತ್ವಂ ವಾಕ್ಪಟುತ್ವಂ ಚ ಹನುಮತ್ ಸ್ಮರಣಾದ್ಭವೇತ್ ||
Buddirbalaṁ yaśōdhyaryaṁ nirbhayatvaṁ ārōgatā।
ajāḍyatvaṁ vākpaṭutvaṁ ca hanumat smaraṇādbhavēt ||
Meaning: बुद्धि (buddhi) – Highly intelligent; बलम् (balam) – highly powerful; यश् (yash) – Very high fame; धैर्यम् (dhairyam) – highly courageous; निर्भयत्वम् (nirbhayatvam) – no fear;
अरोगताम् (arogatAm) – disease-free (diseases can’t touch him); अजाड्यम् (ajADyam) – Highly determined;
वाक् पटुत्वम् च (vAk paTutvam ca) – and no competition in speech (expect Sri Hari and Sri Maha Lakshmi Devi); will all last forever (भवेत्, bhavet) if you meditate (स्मरणात् , smaraNAt) on Sri Hanuman (हनुमत्, hanumat) at all times.

हनूमानंजना सूनुर्वायुपुत्रॊ महाबलः ।
रामॆष्टः फल्गुन सखः पिंगाक्षॊमित विक्रमः ॥
उदधिक्रमणश्चैव सीता संदॆशहारकः ।
लक्ष्मण प्राणदाता च दशग्रीवस्य दर्पहा ||
ಹನೂಮಾನಂಜನಾ ಸೂನುರ್ವಾಯುಪುತ್ರೋ ಮಹಾಬಲಃ |
ರಾಮೇಷ್ಟಃ ಫಲ್ಗುನಸಖಃ ಪಿಂಗಾಕ್ಷೋಽಮಿತವಿಕ್ರಮಃ ||
ಉದಧಿಕ್ರಮಣಶ್ಚೈವ ಸೀತಾಸಂದೇಶಹಾರಕಃ |

Hanūmānan̄janā sūnurvāyuputrō mahābalaḥ |
rāmēṣṭaḥ phalgunasakhaḥ piṅgākṣō̕mitavikramaḥ ||
udadhikramaṇaścaiva sītāsandēśahārakaḥ |
lakṣmaṇaprāṇadātā ca daśagrīvasya darpahā ||
Meaning : The Twelve Names of Bhakta Hanuman are Hanuman (Devotee), Anjana Sunu (Son of Anjana), Vayu Putra (Son of Lord Vayu Deva), Maha Bala (He has Great Strength. Ramesta (Highly devoted to Lord Sri Rama),
Phalguna Sakha (Friend of Arjuna), Pingaksha (Eyes are yellowish or brownish), Amita Vikrama (His valour is Immeasurable or infinite). Udadhi Kramana (He has crossed the ocean),
Sita Shoka Vinashana (Has removed the sorrow of Goddess Sita), Lakshmana Prana Daata (Because of him Lakshmana’s life was saved) and Dasha Griva Darpaha (He destroyed the pride of ten headed demon King of Lanka Ravana).
Hanuman Stotram (Stuti, Sloka) Prathamo Hanuman Nama Dvitiyo Bhima Eva cha (prathamō hanūmannāma dvitīyō bhīma ēva ca) with meaning in Sanskrit (Hindi), Kannada, English is as given below (Hanuman, Bhima and Sri Madhvacharya avatars explanation):
प्रथमो हनुमान् नाम द्वितीयो भीम एव च |
पूर्णप्रज्ञ स्त्रुतियस्तु भगवद् कार्य साधकः ||
ಪ್ರಥಮೋ ಹನೂಮನ್ನಾಮ ದ್ವಿತೀಯೋ ಭೀಮ ಏವ ಚ |
ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಜ್ಞಸ್ತೃತೀಯಸ್ತು ಭಗವತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಸಾಧಕಃ ||
Prathamō hanūmannāma dvitīyō bhīma ēva ca |
pūrṇaprajñastr̥tīyastu bhagavatkāryasādhakaḥ ||
Meaning: Hanuman in his first incarnation in Treta Yuga (Rama’s period) was undoubtedly the greatest devotee of Bhagavan Sri Rama and Hanuman had served Bhagavan Sri Rama with utmost, true and resolute devotion.
Again he was born as Bhima during the Mahabharata period (that is in Dwapara Yuga) and he served Bhagavan Sri Krishna with true devotion.
During the Kali Yuga he was again born as Sri Purnaprajna (another name of Sri Madhwacharya Ji).
He is the one who was well versed and had thorough knowledge about all the Shastras (divine books / grantas of Sanatana Dharma) and in this avatar Sri Madhwacharya Ji served Bhagavan Sri Veda Vyasa (an incarnation of Bhagavan Sri Vishnu) and again in this avatar Sri Madhwacharya Ji re-established Bhagavan Sri Hari as Sarvottamatta (Supreme).
Hanuman Stotram (Stuti, Sloka) Yantrodharaka Hanuman Stotra (yantrōdhāraka hanumān sṭotraṁ) with meaning in Sanskrit (Hindi) is as given below:
नमामि दूतं रामस्य सुखदं च सूरदृवम् |
पीनवृत्त महाबाहुं सर्व शत्रु निवारणं || १ ||
नानारत्न समायुक्तं कुंडलादि विराजितं |
सर्वदाभिष्ठदातरं सतां वै दृढमावाहे || २ ||
वासिनं चक्र तीर्थस्य दक्षिणस्थ गिरौ सदा |
तुंगांबोधि तरंगस्य वातेन परिशोभिते || ३ ||
नानादेशगतै सद्भिः सेव्यंमानं नृपोत्तमैः |
धूपदीपादि नैवेद्यैः पंचखाद्य्यैश्च शक्तितः || ४ ||
भजामि श्री हहूमतं हेमकांति समप्रभम् |
व्यासतीर्थ यतींद्रेण पूजितं प्रणिधानतः || ५ ||
त्रिवारं यः पठेन्नित्यं स्तोत्रं भक्त्या द्विजोत्तमः |
वांछितं लभते भीष्टं षण्मासाभ्यांतरे खलु || ६ ||
पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान् यशार्थी लभते यशः |
विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनं || ७ ||
सर्वथा मास्तु संदेहो हरिः साक्षी जगत्पतिः |
यःकरोत्यत्र संदेहं सयाती नरकं ध्रुवम् || ८ ||

ನಮಾಮಿ ದೂತಂ ರಾಮಸ್ಯ ಸುಖದಂ ಚ ಸುರದ್ರುಮಮ್ |
ಪೀನವೃತ್ತ ಮಹಾಬಾಹುಂ ಸರ್ವ ಶತೃ ನಿವಾರಣಂ ||೧||
ನಾನಾರತ್ನ ಸಮಾಯುಕ್ತಂ ಕುಂಡಲಾದಿ ವಿರಾಜಿತಮ್ |
ಸರ್ವದಾಭೀಷ್ಠದಾತರಾಂ ಸತಾಂ ವೈ ಧೃಢಮಾವಹೇ ||೨||

ಯಃಕರೋತ್ಯತ್ರ ಸಂದೇಹಂ ಸಯಾತಿ ನರಕಂ ಧೃವಮ್|| ೮||
Hanuman Stotram (Stuti, Sloka) Yantrodharaka Hanuman Stotra (yantrōdhāraka hanumān sṭotraṁ) with meaning in English is as given below:
namāmi dūtaṁ rāmasya sukhadaṁ ca suradrumam |
pīnavr̥tta mahābāhuṁ sarva śatr̥ nivāraṇaṁ ||1||
nānāratna samāyuktaṁ kuṇḍalādi virājitam |
sarvadābhīṣṭhadātarāṁ satāṁ vai dhr̥ḍhamāvahē ||2||
vāsinaṁ cakra tīrthasya dakṣiṇastha girausadā |
tuṅgāmbōdhi taraṅgasya vātēna pariśōbhitē ||3||
nānādēśagataiḥ sadbhiḥ sēvyamānaṁ nr̥pōttamaiḥ |
dhūpadīpādi naivēdaiḥ pan̄cakhādyaiścaśaktitaḥ ||4||
bhajāmi śrī hanūmataṁ hēmakānti samaprabham |
vyāsatīrtha yatīndrēṇa pūjitaṁ praṇidhānataḥ ||5||
trivāraṁ yaḥ paṭhēnnityaṁ stōtraṁ bhaktyā dvijōttamaḥ |
vān̄chitaṁ labhatē bhīṣṭaṁ ṣaṇmāsābhyantarē khalu ||6||
putrārthi labhatē putrān yaśārthi labhatē yaśaḥ |
vidyārthi labhatē vidyāṁ dhanārthi labhatē dhanaṁ ||7||
sarvathā māstu sandēhō hariḥ sākṣī jagatpatiḥ |
yaḥkarōtyatra sandēhaṁ sayāti narakaṁ dhr̥vam || 8||
Meaning : Sloka 1 – I bow to you, O Lord Hanuman, you please Lord Sri Rama, the wish-fulfilling tree to the demons (Suras). Lord Hanuman have long hands which are gentle and slender. You are the destroyer of all the enemies. I bow to you.
Meaning : Sloka 2 – You are the one who is looking resplendent with the Kundalas (earrings). Those Kundalas (earning) are studded with various gems. You fulfill all the wishes of your devotees. You are steadfast in battlefield. I bow to you.
Meaning : Sloka 3 – O Lord Hanuman, you reside on the hill that is present south to the Chakra Tirtha. This hill looks magnificent with the winds that come flowing over the river Tunga.
Meaning : Sloka 4 – Even the best Kings and the people of various countries serve you. You are served with ritualistic practices of Dhupam (incense),
deepam (light) and naivedyam (divine food), and by pancha-khadya offerings (sweet made up of five ingredients namely dried dates, coconut, khas khas (poppy) seeds, raisins, and rock candy.
Meaning : Sloka 5 – You shine like gold and I pray to Lord Hanuman. You are worshipped by ‘Sri Vyasatirtha Yati’. I bow to you Lord Hanuman.
Meaning : Sloka 6 – Devotees who recite this stotra (stuti, hymn) thrice in a week become ultimate beings. And fulfills all desires within six months.
Meaning : Sloka 7 – A chanter (reciter) who seeks a child will attain progeny. You want glory, his/her glory is given with fame. Those who seek knowledge will get knowledge. And he/she who seeks wealth gets wealth.
Meaning : Sloka 8 – Never doubt the Eternal Truth as Lord Sri Vishnu is the witness of all and He is the Father of the Universe. And whoever doubts this eternal truth, he will surely go to hell (implying that non- devotees will never understand the ultimate truth).
Thus the Yantradhara Hanuman Stotra composed by Sri Vyasaraja Yati (Vyasaraja, Chandrikacharya) is completed.
