If Lord Sri Vishnu is present in all the animals, birds, bacteria, insects, etc. etc. etc., then why only ‘Gau-maata’ / Go-maata / Mother Cow is given special status?

Why only ‘Gomata’ / Gau-maata / Cow is worshipped? Why we give so much of respect to ‘Gomata’ / Cow?

Why we shouldn’t beat ‘Gomata’ / Cow? Why we shouldn’t harm ‘Gomata’ / Cow?

What all the reasons for giving such a huge stature to a ‘Gomata’ / Cow?

Let us understand this now:

There are few reasons behind this as given below:

Cow is called as ‘सर्व भूत दया’ / ‘sarva bhuta daya’, means an animal or a prani who doesn’t harm anybody in any way. This is one of the reason.

If Lord Sri Vishnu is present everywhere means, it doesn’t mean we need to respect everything and everyone in equal manner.

Lord Sri Vishnu is definitely present in everything and everywhere.

Lord Sri Vishnu is present from in everywhere that is, ‘अणु रेणु तृण काष्टा परिता’ – that is, Lord Sri Vishnu is present in atom, smallest of the smallest molecule, grass, etc. etc. etc. everywhere and in everything.

Lord Sri Vishnu is present in Brahma Deva, Hanuman, Bhima etc. etc. etc. Similarly Lord Sri Vishnu is present in Hiranyakashipu, Ravana, Shishupala, Duryodhana etc. etc. etc.

But, Can we give same respect to Brahma Deva and Hiranyakahsipu? | Can we give same respect to both Hanuman and Ravana? |

Can we give same respect to Bhima and Duryodhana? | Can we give? | No right.

Similar the respect we give to our parents is different and the respect we give to others are different.

The respect we give to our parents, we may not give the same respect to others. I am not telling you that, you shouldn’t give respect to others and need to give respect to our parents only.

No, it is not like that. For me, my parents are highly important. For you, your parents are highly important.

I may not be able to give the same respect to your parents as my parents. Similarly, you may not give the same respect to my parents as your own parents.

This is an universal theory. Lord Sri Vishnu is present everywhere and in everthing.

Lord Sri Vishnu who is present as ‘अन्तर्यामी’ / ‘antaryaami’ (who is present inside us) in Surya Deva is works differently.

Lord Sri Vishnu who is present in Chandra Deva works differently. Lord Sri Vishnu who is present in Surya Deva gives light, heat etc.

Whereas the Lord Sri Vishnu present in Chandra Deva gives us night, calmness, cooling effect etc.

Similarly, Lord Sri Vishnu present in Ganga Devi works differently, and the Lord Sri Vishnu present in Agni Deva works differently.

In Ganga Devi, Lord Sri Vishnu give us water, and whereas Lord Sri Vishnu present in Agni Deva gives us fire.

Also, Lord Sri Vishnu is present in parents and Lord Sri Vishnu is present in children too.

But this doesn’t mean that, parents should do namaskaram to their children. And children should give aashirvadam (blessings) to their parents. No right.

Parents should do aashirvadam to their children and children should do namaskaram to their parents. This is the process.

That’s why Lord Sri Vishnu who is present in parents works differently, and where Lord Sri Vishnu present in children works differently.

Means Lord Sri Vishnu has given the stature of giving aashirvadam (blessings) to parents, and same Lord Sri Vishnu present in children should make those children to do namaskaram to their parents.

Thus we should understand that, Lord Sri Vishnu present in Cow has given special status to the Cows as it gives milk, curd, ghee to the ‘मनु कुल’ / ‘manu kula’ (manu kula means not only humans, but all the living beings).

Cow is so special, that it produces milk not only to it’s own children, but also to the whole ‘मनु कुल’ (mankind).

Cow gives milk to each and everyone who is present on this earth.

No other living being is able to do this. All other animals including humans can give milk to their / our children.

But, Cow is highly special as it gives milk and related products to the living beings present on this earth and also to other living beings too.

Without milk it is very difficult for any living being to live a healthy life style. Starting from the small babies, until we die, we keep on drinking the milk of Cow throughout our lives.

Cow has bigger stature than our own mother. We drink our mother’s milk for a short span of life. May be maximum one or two years.

But, we keep on drinking the milk of Cow throughout our life. Until we die, we keep on drinking Cow’s milk.

For every festival we need Cow’s milk. For every auspicious occasion, we use milk. When we take birth, we need Cow’s milk. When we die also we need Cow’s milk.

To do pooja we need Cow’s milk. For all the occasion throughout our life, we need Cow’s milk.

Thus, we can’t live without ‘Go-maata’ (Gau-maata) and it’s milk. Lord Sri Vishnu who is present as ‘अन्तर्यामी’ inside the Cow gives us milk and thus she is much more than our own mother to us.

We need to give high and greater stature to our ‘Go-maata’ (Gau-maata). She is much more than our own mother. She is our nation’s mother. She is our world’s mother.

Lord Sri Vishnu has given the ‘पूजत्व’ (worshipness) to ‘Gomata’. Lord Sri Vishnu is present everywhere, but has given highly special status to ‘Gomata’.

Yes, indeed Lord Sri Vishnu is present everywhere and inside everyone.

But, Lord Sri Vishnu should give that special status to that particular think or to that particular living being to get the required status and respect.

If Lord Sri Vishnu gives special status to a particular thing or to a particular living being, then only that particular thing or that particular living being gets the special status, otherwise no.

Lord Sri Vishnu has indeed given highly special status to ‘Gomata’ and thus ‘Gomata’ is indeed highly special to everyone and everybody.

Wherever ‘Gomata’ (Gau maata) is given respect, that particular human or that particular house or that particular place or that particular country will definitely prosper. Will get all the respect.

Otherwise, definitely that particular human or that particular house or that particular place or that particular country, will never ever get any respect and will definitely attain it’s Karma as per it’s deeds shortly. This is 100% sure.
