Just before going to “Why is it hard to please Lord Vishnu (Krishna) | Why do Hindu Gods give boons to demons (rakshasas)“, let us have some brief information.

We always hear that Devatas (Demigods) like Lord Sri Brahma Deva, Lord Sri Rudra Deva (Lord Shiva) and others give boon (varam) to rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people).

And why Lord Sri Vishnu or Lord Sri Krishna or Rama doesn’t give boon to his devotees faster?

But why this happens? Why do Devatas (Demigods) like Lord Sri Brahma Deva, Lord Sri Rudra Deva (Lord Shiva) and others give boon (varam) to rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people).

Rakshasas (demons) do tapas, they get boon (ashirvadam) (varam) from the Devatas (Demigods) and in-turn these rakshasas (demons) cause problems to the Devatas (Demigods) and common people.

But why this happens, again and again…?

We should always remember for Lord Sri Brahma Deva, Lord Sri Rudra Deva (Lord Shiva) and other Devatas (Demigods) we all are same, that is,

it may be a demon or an ordinary person, for Devatas (Demigods) all are same and as per our (demons and others) knowledge and qualities,

the Devatas (Demigods) will give boon (ashirvadam / varam) to demons or ordinary humans.

This means, as per the Karmas done by these rakshasas (demons) – Lord Sri Brahma Deva, Lord Sri Rudra Deva (Lord Shiva) and other Devatas (Demigods) will give boon (ashirvadam / varam).

But why the Devatas (Demigods) give the boon (ashirvadam / varam)?

This is because the rakshasas (demons) have done the hard tapas (penance) and thus it’s the Dharma of the Devatas (Demigods) to give boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam) to the rakshasas (demons).

If somebody does some hard work, they definitely need to get the fruits of it.

Thus Devatas (Demigods), give the boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam) to the rakshasas (demons).

If Devatas (Demigods) doesn’t give the boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam), it will be against the Great Vedas (means against Sanatana Dharma).

We should note that anybody who does the tapas (penance) in according to the Vedas (as advised in the Vedas),

that may be rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) or humans or anybody, Devatas (Demigods) or even Lord Sri Hari (Vishnu) has to give the boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam).

If Devatas (Demigods) or Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) doesn’t give the boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam), it will be against the Sanatana Dharma. One has to to get the fruits as per his / her hard work.

For this reason, the Devatas (Demigods) give the boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam) to the rakshasas (demons) too.

But also we should note that rakshasas (demons) don’t do the tapas (penance) with 100% accuracy (As per Vedas / Sanatana Dharma).

These rakshasas (demons) do the tapas (penance) not because for the upliftment of the humanity or for a good and divine reason.

But instead rakshasa (demons) do the tapas (penance) because of their own greed / expectations / likings / ambition etc.

This type of tapas (penance) is called “sakaama karma” (सकाम कर्म) (sakāma karma), this means, only for someone’s greed a tapas (penance) is done, that tapas is called as “sakaama karma tapas”.

Anybody who does the tapas (penance) according to the Great Vedas (Sanatana Dharmar), that tapas doesn’t go in vain at all.

This is the rule of the Great Vedas (Sanatana Dharma). If Devatas (Demigods) gets satisfied by the tapas (penance),

then the fruits has to be given to that person without a second thought by Devatas (Demigods).

This is the rule done by svayam Bhagavan Lord Sri Vishnu (Hari) (Narayana) (Rama) (Krishna).

Thus if someone is doing tapas (penance) according to the Great Vedas / rules of Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) (Sanatana Dharma),

then Devatas (Demigods) like Lord Sri Brahma Deva, Lord Sri Rudra Deva (Lord Shiva) and others get satisfied.

Thus, is someone has done the tapas (penance) according to the Great Vedas (Sanatana Dharma) means,

the Devatas (Demigods) definitely need to give the boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam) to anybody, it may be rakshasas (demons), humans or anybody.

Rakshasas (demons) get the boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam) as per the tapas (penance) done by them.

The more hard and as per the Great Vedas if the tapas (penance) is done,

then the rakshasas (demons) have to definitely get the boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam) as per their tapas (penance) qualities.

With this boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam), the rakshasas (demons) start to show the cruelty against the common people and the nature.

Here the point we should note is that, as per the rules made by the Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) (Great Vedas) (Sanatana Dharma),

the “sat-jeevas” (good people) has to be shown the right path and similarly the “dur-jeevas” (bad people) (rakshasas) (demons) has to be shown the wrong path.

The “sajjanas” or “sat-jeevas” (divinely good people / followers of Dharma) has to be shown the “sadgati” (good path),

for “madhyamas” (qualities of both good and bad) the path should be shown marginally, and for “dur-jeevas” the wrong path has to be shown, this is the job of the Devatas (Demigods).

To the know the “Sajjana correct meaning”, you can click the below link:

Sajjana correct meaning

Thus if someone is “dur-jeeva” (bad person), then he / she does the tapas (penance),

then he / she will be doing the tapas (penance) for his / her own greed and thus these “dur-jeevas” (bad people) has to be shown the incorrect path.

Devatas (Demigods) can’t show the correct path to these “dur-jeevas” (bad people) as they rakshasas (demons) are called “Loka-Kantakas

(Here Loka-Kantakas means, someone who go against the Great Vedas and humanity / Dharma).

But, we may get the question in our mind, why the Devatas (Demigods) or Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) doesn’t make all as good people?

why everything can’t be good on this earth?

But, on this earth everything can’t be only good and also everything can’t be only bad.

World always need to move forward as per the Karmas of the people. It may be a ‘good karma‘ or a ‘bad karma‘.

If one has done good Karmas, he / she will get the good fruits and similarly if one has done the bad Karmas, he / she will get the fruits as per the Karmas.

Devatas (Demigods) doesn’t have the power to give the boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam) to anybody against the Great Vedas (Sanatana Dharma)

or the rules done by the Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna).

Devatas (Demigods) don’t have the power to change anything in the Great Vedas (Sanatana Dharma) or the rules of the Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna).

Devatas (Demigods) just need to adhere as per the Great Vedas (Sanatana Dharma) or the rules made by Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna).

Devatas (Demigods) have the power only to give the fruits as per the Karmas of that particular person, but Devatas (Demigods) don’t have the power to change the mindset of the rakshasas (demons).

This means Devatas (Demigods) don’t have the power to change the rules of the Great Vedas (Sanatana Dharma) or the rules of Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna).

Devatas (Demigods) have to obey as per the instructions given in the Great Vedas (Sanatana Dharma) by svayam Bhagavan Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna).

Thus Devatas (Demigods) will show the path as per the Karmas of the rakshasas (demons).

But, since rakshasas (demons) have done the tapas (penance) as per the Great Vedas (Sanatana Dharma),

that’s why Devatas (Demigods) have to give the boon(s) (ashirvadam / varam) to the rakshasas (demons).

But, rakshasas (demons) do the tapas (penance) because of the “sakaama”, means because of the greed, and thus Devatas (Demigods) have to show the incorrect path to the rakshasas (demons).

(Just for example in today’s world, we have been seeing people dying because of so many terrorists attacks. Can our government would do good things to these terrorists?)

(No right. Since these terrorists have gone completely against the rules, they have to be punished severely and have to be either jailed or need to give the capital punishment).

Similarly rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) can’t be shown the right path by the Devatas (Demigods), as rakshasas (demons) can’t be good, they would never be good.

Thus, Devatas (Demigods) has to be shown the incorrect path to the rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people). This is because of the Karmas of the rakshasa (demons).

Also, we should remember that if a good person does the good works, then the fruits that good person gets is because of his / her earlier Karmas.

Similarly, since the rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) have done all the bad Karmas, they have to be shown the path as per their own Karmas.

This is the secret of the Sanatana Dharma (Great Vedas) (Lord Sri Vishnu) (Lord Sri Krishna).

There is a saying in Sanatana Dharma, “dharmo rakshati, rakshitaha”.

This means, if someone is obeying the rules of the Dharma means, he / she will be get protection from the Dharma itself.

If we are Dharmic, we will be get the Dharmic fruits. If we are Adharmic, we will get the fruits as per our Adharma Karma.

But, we may get the question in our minds, these rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) will spread the terrorists activities against the common people, that is –

the “sajjanas” / good people and this common man has to bare all the misdoings of these rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people), why is it so?

For this there are two main answers:

First is, if a rakshasa (demons) (ill-minded people) shows his rakshasa guna (quality) against the good man,

that person doesn’t need to react immediately to the atrocities of the rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people).

This is the specialty of a “sajjana” (Dharmic person) (good perosn). A good person shouldn’t be distressed because of the rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) are causing problems to us.

If a rakshasa (demons) (ill-minded people) is causing problems to us means, we shouldn’t try to cause problems to the rakshasas. This is the greatness of the “saadaka” (an achiever).

But, we should remember that this rule doesn’t apply to the Kshatriya (today’s soldier / police etc).

Thus a common man should accept all the good and bad things happening in his life.

The common man should be mentally strong to know about the right path and wrong path.

Common man should be ready to face any difficulties in his / her life equally.

When we get difficulties because of the rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) like:

Hiranyakashipu, Ravana, Duryodhana etc., the common has to tolerate all the atrocities caused by these rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people).

These means, Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) are testing us.

If someone is tolerating the atrocities of rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) doesn’t mean the common man is weak.

But instead, this shows the strong mindedness of the common man. This is the first answer.

Second is, when these rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) try to cause problems to us physically, we should always be ready from our inner mind.

We should always be having the faith in Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna).

Because Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) are always there to protect us (good people) (Dharmic people).

We should remember that, when these rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) started to do the “sakaama” tapas (penance), from that time itself the bad Karmas of these rakshasas start.

At this juncture, when the tolerant time exceeds a particular time, then at that point Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) will come and definitely save us.

This means, Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) will test the common man.

Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) will test the ordinary / good people / a sajjana / a Dharmic person to some extent.

But, when this tolerant power ends and when the atrocities of the rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) increases,

at that point the Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) will definitely come and rescue us.

This means, the rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) has to be shown the wrong path. Thus Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) would test the common people.

The rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people) will get the “dur-maarga” (wrong path) and the sajjanas (good people) (Dharmic people) will get the “san-maarga” (correct path).

That is the greatness of the Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna). They will show the path as per our Karmas.

The person who will accept both the “sukha” (happiness) and “dukkha” (miseries) in the same way,

that person will be purified and will get the boon(s) (ashirvaada / varam) of the Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) as per their Karmas.

Similarly, if a rakshasa svabhavi (demonic nature person) does the bad Karmas, he will definitely would get the fruits as per his / her bad Karmas.

We should always remember, Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) can’t and won’t tolerate atrocities against his bhaktas (devotees).

Whenever a bhakta (devotee) is in danger, svayam Bhagavan Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) will come to rescue such person.

We may know the stories of Prahlada, Dhruva, Ajamila, Gajendra, Vibhishana, Sugriva, Ambarisha, Sudama, etc. etc. etc.

Similarly a “dur-jeeva” (bad person), means a rakshasa svabhavi (ill-minded person) can’t get the good anugraha (blessings) of Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna).

“Dur-jeeva” (bad person) will definitely get the fruits as per his / her Karmas.

This is way the Devatas (Demigods) do their jobs and these are the rules of our Great Vedas or Sanatana Dharma or Lord Sri Vishnu’s (Lord Sri Krishna) rules.

Finally in short, we should understand that, to show the wrong path to the rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people),

Devatas (Demigods) and Lord Sri Vishnu (Lord Sri Krishna) will give boon(s) (aashirvadam / varam) to the rakshasas (demons) (ill-minded people).

But that boon will be limited and that boon itself will become a shrapa (curse) to them

and this will result in the end of them and this in turn will result in the ‘loka kalyanam’ (welfare of the world).
