Just before going to “Lord Rama Birth Facts (Importance, Significance, History) | How was Lord Rama born? | Lord Rama Date of Birth and Death“, let us have a brief some brief information.

As per the Sri Bhagavatam (Sri Vishnu Purana), Bhagavan Sri Rama is the 7th avatar incarnation of Bhagavan Sri Vishnu in the list of Dasha Avatars.

As written in Sri Bhagavatam (Sri Vishnu Purana), Bhagavan Sri Rama’s Avatar had taken place during the 24th Treta Yuga of the current Vaivasvata Manvantara.

Bhagavan Sri Rama was born in Suryavansh (Suryavamsha), in the lineage of the great and divine Kings like Ikshvaku, Raghu, Bhagiratha, Satya Harishchandra, Mandhata, Sagara, Dileepa, Bhagiratha, Aja, etc.

Lord Sri Surya Deva (Sun God) is said to be the Bhagavan Sri Vishnu’s amsha (part) of Bhagavan Sri Sri Rama. Bhagavan Sri Rama is a ‘Paripoorna Manushya Avatar’ of Bhagavan Sri Vishnu.

[It should be always noted that, there is no difference between Bhagavan Sri Vishnu / Bhagavan Sri Krishna / Bhagavan Sri Rama or any of the avatars of Bhagavan Sri Vishnu. All are one and the same.]

[Also it should be noted that, Lord Sri Surya Deva has an amsha (part) of Bhagavan Sri Vishnu, but it doesn’t means Lord Sri Surya is an avatar of Bhagavan Sri Vishnu.]

[No. Both are different. Even we ordinary humans have an amsha of Bhagavan Sri Vishnu in us. But we can’t be Bhagavan Sri Vishnu or be called as an avatar of Bhagavan Sri Vishnu.]

Bhagavan Sri Rama is the eldest son of King Dasharatha and his first wife Sri Kausalya Devi. Bhagavan Sri Rama had two step mothers namely Sri Sumitra Devi, and Sri Kaikeyi Devi.

Bhagavan Sri Rama had three brothers namely Lakshmana, Bharata and Shatrughna. Goddess Sri Sita Devi is an avatar of Sri Maha Lakshmi Devi and she is the divine consort of Bhagavan Sri Rama.

Bhagavan Sri Rama has two sons namely Kusha and Lava. Both Kusha and Lava were bought up in Rishi Valmiki Ashram.

In Valmiki Ramayana, Moola Ramayana and Sri Bhagavatam (Sri Vishnu Purana) it is said that, Bhagavan Sri Rama ruled this earth for 13,000 years and those years were known as Rama Rajyam.

As per Hindu Sanatana Dharma Chandraman Panchanga (Lunar calendar), Bhagavan Sri Rama was born on the ninth (Navami) lunar day of shukla paksha in Chaitra Masam.

Astrologically, Bhagavan Sri Rama was born under the constellation (nakshtra) of Punarvasu, 4th charana in Karkataka Rashi (Cancer Sign) and Karkataka Lagna.

At the time of Bhagavan Sri Rama birth five planets, namely, Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn were said to be in exalted position.

What is Sri Rama Navami? – Sri Rama Navami is very important and most divine Hindu festival dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Rama. This festival is celebrated not only in India, but across the globe irrespective of caste and creed.

This day is normally celebrated as the birthday of Bhagavan Sri Sri Rama coinciding with the ninth day (Navami tithi) of Chaitra Masam Shukla Paksha as per Hindu Chandraman Panchanga (Lunar calendar).

What is to be done on Sri Rama Navami day?

Bhagavan Sri Rama is worshiped on this most auspicious and divine day along with his consort Goddess Sri Sita Devi, and his brother Lakshmana and Lord Hanuman, and His parents, that is, father and King Dasaratha and mother and Queen Sri Kausalya Devi.

List of Lord Rama birth facts are as given below:

1. Yugas in Hinduism: In Hinduism totally there are 3 yugas as given below:

a. One Kali Yuga = 4,32,000 years | b. One Dwapara Yuga = 2 * Kali Yuga = 8,64,000 years (Bhagavan Sri Krishna period)

c. One Treta Yuga = 3 * Kali Yuga = 12,96,000 years (Bhagavan Sri Rama period) | d. One Satya Yuga (Kruta Yuga) = 4 * Kali Yuga = 17,28,000 years (Bhagavan Sri Varaha, Narasimha period).

2. Thus, it should be noted that around 2 million (20 Lakhs) years have passed since the birth of Bhagavan Sri Rama.

3. This is as per Valmiki Ramayana, Moola Ramayana (Original Ramayana) and also as per Sri Bhagavatam (Sri Vishnu Purana).

4. But few people argue that Bhagavan Sri Rama was born on January 10 at 12.05 hours, 5114 BC.

They continue the argument telling that “Rigveda goes back to 7,000 years back, and Ramayana references goes back to 7,000 years, whereas Mahabharata goes back to 5,000 years back,”.

This is absolutely without any Vedic proof.

5. As said above all the Hindu Sanatana Dharma scriptures say that One Kali Yuga is 4,32,000 years, One Dwapara Yuga is 8,64,000 years,

One Treta Yuga is 12,96,000 years and One Satya Yuga is 17,28,000. All these yugas collectively is known as ‘One Mahayuga’.

6. Above all, Hindu Sanatana Dharma is cycle type of system. This cycle of Yugas, Mahayugas continuous again and again.

7. Valmiki Ramayana says that, Bhagavan Sri Rama ruled earth for 13,000 years. With this proof, then how does the Mahabharata started with only about 2,000 years of difference between Ramayana and Mahabharata period.

8. This is completely unacceptable and is against the proof provided by Valmiki Ramayana, Moola Ramayana (Original Ramayana), Sri Bhagavatam (Sri Vishnu Purana).

9. Thus the above time frame given by few so called highly educated people should be nullified and shouldn’t be taken as a Vedic proof.

10. They also insist that One Kali Yuga is 1,200 years, One Dwapara Yuga is 2,400 years, One Treta Yuga is 3,600 years, and One Satya Yuga is 4,800 years.

11. If this is the right proof, then by today’s (Present – A.D. 2021) time, it should be Satya Yuga.

Can anyone explain, then how can today’s (Present – A.D. 2021) time frame can be considered as Satya Yuga.

12. Satya Yuga by name itself it suggests that, everything will be in the right direction, 99.99 % of people will follow correct Dharma.

All will be genuine people, there will be no slaughter of cows, there won’t be fight between two or more countries, there will be zero corruption,

Valuable ornaments will be used in barter system, women will be highly respected, values will be given the highest authority, many Devatas (Demigods) will be teaching Sanatana Dharma on earth itself, etc. etc. etc.

13. Nothing such type of positive signs are available in today’s (Present A.D. 2021) world. It is completely dead opposite which is happening (It is happening purely as Kali Yuga and not as Satya Yuga).

14. And thus, the above two points (i.e., In red color point # 4 and # 10) should be completely rejected, should be accepted as nullified and is against the Vedic scriptures as it doesn’t has any Vedic proof(s).
