What is Dadhichi, Indra, Vajrayudha story

Many years ago there used to be a Rishi naamam (named) Dadhichi along with his patni (wife) Suvarcha in an aashramam / hermitage.
Dadhichi's aashramam / hermitage was next to the nadi Ganga (river Ganga).
Dadhichi was so shakthishaali (powerful) due to his tapasya / penance, that even rakshasaas and daityaas / demons were getting bhayam (afraid) to enter the aashramam / hermitage.
Once Devas (Demigods) after winning the yudham (war) against the rakshasaas came to show respect towards the Rishi Dadhichi.
Dadhichi asked for the Devas about their faring in the yudham (war) and also about their well being.
Devas said "dhanyavaadam (thank you) for asking about the yudham (war) and our well being. In fact we have won the yudham (war) and came to keep all our aayudhams (weapons) in your aashramam / hermitage."
