Just before going to “List of avatars in Ramayana | Which deities (Devatas) (Demigods) took avatar in Ramayana“, let us have a brief some brief information.

Ramayana is one of the most highly devoted and spiritual grantha (Hindu divine texts) for both Hindus and non-Hindus around the world.

Whenever Lord Sri Hari (Vishnu) takes avatar on earth, along with him all the Devatas (Demigods) and Devis (Demi-Goddesses) also take avatar to do the seva (serve) of Lord Sri Hari (Vishnu).

All the Devatas (Demigods) and Devis (Demi-Goddesses) will be eager to do the seva (serve) of Lord Sri Hari (Vishnu).

Starting from Goddess Lakshmi Devi, Lord Brahma, Goddess Sarasvati, Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati Devi, Lord Indra, Lord Surya, Lord Chandra, etc. etc. etc. all take the avatars to serve Lord Vishnu (Rama / Krishna).

Let us know the different avatars of those Devatas and Devis during the Sri Ramayana period.
